Albert C. Molnar, MD

Albert Molnar, MD, is board certified by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He received his medical degree from Ohio State University followed by an internship at Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio. Dr. Molnar completed a residency in Physical Medicine at Letterman Army in San Francisco, where he served as Assistant Chief Resident.
Currently, Dr. Molnar has a private practice in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Sports Medicine (fitness wellness) and Electrodiagnosis. From 1969 through 1995, Dr. Molnar enjoyed a distinguished and decorated military career in the United States Army. From 1990 to 1995, he served as III Corps Surgeon and Medical Advisor in Fort Hood, Texas. Prior to that appointment, Dr. Molnar was Commander at the Pentagon Army Health Clinic in Washington, D.C. and served on the faculty of the National Defense University, also in Washington, D.C. Previous service includes Commander at the United States Army Hospital in Fort Dix, New Jersey, Deputy Commander in the United States Army Hospital in Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and 3rd Infantry Division Surgeon and Medical Advisor to the Commander in Wurzburg, Germany.
Dr. Molnar’s numerous military honors include the Army Legion of Merit, Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Army National Defense Service Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, Expert Field Medical Badge, Parachute Badge and Order of Military Medical Merit.
Dr. Molnar has written many professional papers, which have appeared in respected medical journals. His work covers a wide range of topics including “Al Eskan Disease: Desert Storm Pneumonitis” and “Lipoprotein-LIPID Profiles and Treadmill Exercise Test Performance of Senior Military Officers.” Dr. Molnar received his bachelor’s degree from Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
