Continuing Medical Education

NeuroTexas Institute physicians have received their training at premier institutions across the nation, but we understand that continuing medical education (CME) is essential for physicians to stay current with all the latest evidence-based surgical and clinical treatments. A series of physician CME opportunities will be instated so that our physicians can share and learn from one another, as well as from national experts on a variant of topics.

Neuro-oncology Team Conference

Every other Friday at 7:00am, individual cases are presented and discussed at multidisciplinary tumor conferences. Physicians representing all neuro-oncology specialties attend the conferences, which review each patient’s diagnostic imaging films, pathology and overall status. The group discusses available forms of treatment and shares recommendations before reaching a consensus regarding the best treatment approach for each patient.

For more information or to add a case for review, please email kaelyn.kappeler@stdavids.com.
