Scan Review Program
Scan Review ProgramThe Scan Review Program at NeuroTexas Institute is a service to physicians and patients seeking a second opinion.

Our physicians are committed to providing a clinical report in a timely manner, within a week of initial request from the primary care physician or from the patient. This consultative approach allows you to benefit from additional resources and possible alternative options for treatment.

How to proceed?

If you are located in Texas, please complete the patient history form and send by mail, FedEx or UPS your scans or CD along with a $50 administrative fee (check only, payable to SDMC) to our nurse coordinator.

If you are located outside of Texas, please ask your primary care physician to complete the health history form.

In addition, please complete our Scan Review Program Request Form. Our coordinator will contact you promptly in order to facilitate the process and arrange a timely scan review by one of our participating physicians.

Important information

Please send ALL available scans. The films should be recent (4-6 weeks old) and of good quality. Through the entire process, our nurse coordinator will be in contact with you to give you an update and facilitate communication with our physician.

If you would like to request an appointment with the physician, please let the nurse coordinator know or request an appointment electronically.
